Oyster cocktail


Ingredients for making an oyster cocktail

  1. Vodka 50 ml
  2. Tomato paste (or ketchup) 1 tbsp. a spoon
  3. Chicken (or quail) egg 1 pc.
  4. Tabasco sauce 4 drops
  5. Salt on the tip of a knife
  6. Ground black pepper on the tip of a knife
  7. 1 clove lemon
  8. Parsley 1 sprig
  9. Ice (optional) to taste

Making a cocktail "Oyster":

Step 1: Put the yolk on the bottom of the glass.

Separate the protein from the yolk. To do this, break the egg over the plate or cup with a knife so that the shell remains intact, and only a crack is obtained. Protein will flow through it, and the yolk will remain inside. Gently with a spoon, without violating the integrity, lay on the bottom of the glass. In order to separate the protein from the yolk, there are special devices (a spoon-separator for eggs) that greatly facilitate and accelerate this process.

Step 2: Prepare a cocktail.

Next, add tomato paste or ketchup to the glass, drip hot sauce. Add spices: salt and pepper. Next, very carefully pour a bar spoon on all the ingredients with vodka. It is desirable that it be chilled, as well as cocktail dishes.

Step 3: Serve the oyster cocktail.

In a slice of lemon we make an incision, with which we put it on the neck of the glass as a decoration. We wash a sprig of parsley in water and fix it with lemon. They play the role of not only decoration, but also snacks for the drink. They give a special aftertaste to the drink. "Oyster" is drunk in one gulp. - - Instead of Tabasco sauce, you can use any tomato hot sauce to your taste and discretion.

- - The cocktail also involves the use of other spices, for example: ginger, white pepper, mustard, etc.

- - Instead of vodka, you can use gin in the same proportion, in which case the cocktail will acquire an even more unique and individual taste.

- - If you are not a fan of spicy food and drinks, then in the recipe you can limit yourself to only spicy sauce or ketchup, and exclude black pepper.
