Ingredients for Cooking Fish Chips

Cooking Fish Chips:

Step 1: Prepare the fish for the meatballs.

Cod fillets must be thawed and washed thoroughly in water. Next, cut it into pieces, about 2-3 centimeters wide. In this case, it is necessary to remove all bones from the fillet. Then we wash the pieces of fish again and dry them a bit with paper towels. We place the prepared fillet in a blender container and carefully grind according to the state of mashed potatoes.

Step 2: Cook the fish mass for the meatballs.

Next, add eggs, cream and garlic to the fish blender bowl. Salt the contents to taste. We continue to whip the mass. If necessary, if the consistency is too dry, you can add a little more cream. But do not overdo it, as the mass should be quite dense. Beat the contents until a homogeneous puree state.

Step 3: Fry the meatballs in a pan.

We shift the fish mass from the blender into a bowl. Three cheese on a fine grater and mix it in minced meat for meatballs. Pepper the ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour a little sunflower oil into the pan and put it on medium heat. We form bitochki with our hands dipped in water. In shape, they should resemble round cutlets. The easiest way to do them this way: grab a little minced meat with your hands and roll an even ball out of it. Next, squeeze it a little with palms on both sides. Put the prepared meatballs on the heated oil and fry on both sides for 3-4 minutes each.

Step 4: Serve the fish balls.

We spread the meatballs on a plate and decorate with washed branches of dill. A dish is served to the table in a warm or chilled form with a side dish, which can be used as rice, potatoes, cooked cereals, any kind of vegetables, etc. As for sauces, meatballs go well with sour cream or any creamy sauces. Good appetite!

Recipe Tips:

- - If you adhere to the rules of healthy or diet food, then you can cook the meatballs in a double boiler.

- - Instead of cod, you can use any fish fillet to your liking.

- - On the basis of such a recipe, you can cook wonderful home-cooked foods. To do this, cook the meatballs for a couple for 15 minutes, then lay them out in one layer on a plastic wrap and cover with another piece (or tightly wrap in foil). Freeze the meatballs in the freezer for 3-4 hours, after which we put them in a clean plastic bag. Store on demand in the freezer. When guests come to you or there is too little time left to prepare dinner, we take out the meatballs, thaw for 7-10 minutes and fry in a pan until golden brown appears. Fast and efficient.
