Laurent pie with chicken and mushrooms

Ingredients for making Laurent pie with chicken and mushrooms.

For the test:

  1. Butter (or baking margarine) 50 gr.
  2. Egg 1 pc.
  3. Flour 200 gr.
  4. 0.5 teaspoon salt
  5. Water (drinking) 3 tablespoons

For filling:

  1. Fillet (chicken) 300 gr.
  2. Mushrooms (champignons) 400 gr.
  3. Onions (onions) 100 gr.
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Vegetable oil to taste

To fill:

  1. Cream (or sour cream) 200 ml.
  2. Cheese -150 gr. taste
  3. Egg 2 pcs.
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Greens (to taste) to taste

Cooking Laurent pie with chicken and mushrooms:

Step 1: Cook the dough.

Softened butter (do not drown) must be mixed with the egg. It is not worth achieving a homogeneous mass here. Then add water, flour and salt to a bowl with butter and knead the dough. Wrap the finished dough in a cling film and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare the filling.

While the dough is in the refrigerator, we begin to prepare the filling of mushrooms and chicken. We will need to boil the meat, so you can put it at the same time as the start of the kneading process. While we knead the fillet just cook it. In general, everything about everything should take us 20 minutes. After the filet has cooled, it must be cut into small cubes. Onions must be peeled, washed and finely chopped. Mushrooms (I prefer mushrooms) also rinse and cut into small pieces. We put on the fire to heat the pan, after pouring vegetable oil into it. As soon as it heats up, put the onion into it to fry. Add mushrooms to it and fry for another 10 minutes. Then salt a little and add chopped chicken fillet. And fry another 10 minutes. After which the filling will need to be cooled.

Step 3: Prepare the fill.

The first step is to rub the cheese on a fine grater. Take a bowl and beat eggs in it. Add cream or sour cream to them, then grated cheese and mix well. If there is a need to salt, then salt!

Step 4: Cook the Laurent pie with chicken and mushrooms.

We set the oven to heat up to 200 degrees. Cover the mold (I used with a diameter of 27 cm and a height of 3 cm) with baking paper, lay out the dough and make sides. Then put the filling on the dough and evenly distribute. Pour the fill on top and put in the oven to bake for 30-45 minutes.

Step 5: Serve the Laurent pie with chicken and mushrooms.

As soon as the cake is cooked, it will be necessary to pull it out of the oven and let it cool slightly. It can be served as an independent dish, or as an additional one. If Laurent pie is the main course, then semi-dry white wine is perfect as a drink. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - If you do not have parchment paper, you can simply grease a baking sheet with a piece of butter and sprinkle lightly with flour on top, so the cake will not stick to the baking sheet.

- - As a filling, you can use not only chicken, but also ham.

- - You can add a little green to the fill.
